How to Choose the Right Flow Meter

It's important to note that there is no singular mechanical flow meter that can be used for all fluids, gases and other materials. You need to buy the specific meter for the material you're measuring. There are several points you should consider in order to make the right purchase:

• Specifically, what will you be measuring?
• If it's not water, what is the viscosity of the fluid?
• What is the minimum and maximum flow rate / process pressure / process temperature?
