EMERGENCY SHUT-OFF VALVES
Emergency shut-off valves immediately stop product flow in the event of fire or collision at the dispenser. Adaptor shears clean upon impact, causing the poppet to seal on the valve body preventing fuel spillage. When a fire occurs, a fusible link releases the fulcrum arm engaging the poppet. Note: The closing feature of an automatic shut-off valve must be checked to Government dated regulation by manually tripping and holding linkage and also test auto shut-off. Electrical supply to the submersible pump must always be disconnected before servicing meters, dispensers or emergency shut-off valves. Do not apply more than 50 PSI to valve with poppet in its closed position. Valve seat and disc damage may occur. Features:
